Mr. Lexx is daydreaming about what could have been a clash for the books between artists Jada Kingdom and Stefflon Don.

In less than 24 hours, the women have unleashed diss tracks taking aim at the other's sexual and personal history. But following her release of London Bed, Kingdom said she's done beefing with the Hurtin' Me artist out of respect for her rapping producer boo, Pardison Fontaine.

Mr. Lexx is among dancehall enthusiasts expressing disappointment about the clash's anticlimactic end.

"U know what?" the Full Hundred deejay shared on Instagram. "Di fans was actually looking forward to di clash with stefflon and twinkle. In a weird and funny way, the industry needed that."

He added, "Nutten more intriguing dan two bad artist a go at it. And I mean people with talent. These two girls could've given us a really entertaining clash. Thing is… it can't be friendly. And that's where self control and a good team comes in."

His sentiment was shared by others, who said that said the culture has been yearning for a lyrically-potent, worthwhile clash between female acts, and that the Eastsyde Queen and British Don were a perfect match.

"Nothing nuh funny bout it.. The culture NEEDED it."

"Real talk DJ. As da war a get nice, Jada a step out."

"Exactly. It's called entertainment. Not street brawl on stage. It's both professional."

Another chimed in, "Facts: they owe it to dancehall… It's part of the culture 🙌 having a professional clash and to then making up is key to marketing strategy today! Clash we seh."

Though Kingdom has checked out of the clash, word on the street is that Stefflon is already planning a response to London Bed

Tension between the artists' fan bases has been brewing since June when Kingdom was spotted out with Stefflon's ex, Nigerian superstar Burna Boy. Subsequently, Stefflon took to her Instagram Story to throw shade at a promiscuous woman, which some fans felt was bitterness towards Burna's possible new fling. Stefflon would eventually clarify her post, saying it was a jab at her former handlers.

By July, Burna had name-dropped Kingdom in the remix of Byron Messia's Talibans, specifically singing "All of the best p*mp*m deh yah Kingston, so me buy a Birkin fi Jada Kingdom".

Recall, on Kingdom and The 9ine's Turn Me On hit, she stipulates that any man desirous of having her as arm candy, has to gift her a Birkin bag. However, she made it clear on IDG1F (released three days before Talibans II) that she's quite stingy with her lady parts, though men can wish away while spoiling her in cash and kind.

By September, Kingdom was seen out and about with Fontaine, confirming she'd moved on from Burna. Rumours of a reconciliation between Stefflon and Burna started circulating in December after she received a Rolls-Royce vehicle as a birthday gift from an unnamed boo.

Fast forward to this weekend when Stefflon teased a song on Rvssian's Dutty Money riddim, which threatened violence towards a promiscuous woman who slept with her man. Kingdom entered the chat, confirming a casual fling with Burna, and only finding issue with the threatened "box". She asked the 16 Shots artist to confirm if she was the target, which Stefflon confirmed via Dat A Dat.
